FUNDING
The McPherson (Planning/Implementing) Local Redevelopment Authority has been funded since its establishment on November 9, 2005 by a Community Economic Adjustment Planning Assistance grant from the Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment. This (OEA) grant provides 90% funding for all operations of the MILRA, with some exceptions and limits. The OEA grants, since 2006, have been matched by grants of varying amounts from the City of Atlanta and the State of Georgia (REBA and Other Grants). The MILRA received a REBA Grant of $140,000 in July of 2007 and $174,910 in July of 2008. No matching funds have been received from REBA Grants since July of 2008. A grant from the Georgia Research Alliance of $250,000 was received in FY 11. The following graph shows the allocated amounts:
